Hello friends!

I cannot believe that it has already been almost 4 weeks now since I packed up my life to move to Georgia.  I arrived here, moved into my apartment and less then two days later jumped into my new job in field support at AIM...and things have not stopped being busy since then.

As I have mentioned in my previous blogs, I took a position working in field support, which means that we recruit leaders to lead teams, train them, send them out, and support them on the field.  Summer, as you might expect is our busiest season.   We have over 175 short term trips that we are sending out this summer, all which need to be staffed with leaders who are equipped to serve.  So, right now I have about 165 of those trips staffed.  I'm working to finish staffing them, coaching new leaders to go out, and serving and supporting those who are on the field.    There is so much work to accomplish, and there are some days that are stressful, but these things don't keep me from being able to say that I LOVE what I do.  I truly LOVE it and feel that I am in the right place.  I work with an incredible team of people, and I love being able to be a part of a team that is mobilizing teams of people to go and further the kingdom.

Amidst the beautiful chaos of this recent transition,  I am adjusting to the idea of being a "missionary," and being fully support raised.    Right now, I have been working to raise my support and currently have 22.6% of my support in.   However, come mid August I will need to have 100% of my support in for the next 12 months (my income for August 2011-August 2012) in order to continue being on staff.  I have been praying that the Lord would provide all of my funding by August 1st, and that he would show me who I need to partner with in this ministry.  It's simply something that I cannot do alone, and that I desperately need to depend on the  body of believers in order to do (which has been such a humbling experience.)

So, I am asking: Would you be willing to partnering with me  (either prayerfully or financially) in this ministry? There are a lot of different ways you can partner with me.  Some people have chosen to commit to give $100 a month, some have committed to give $10 a month, and others have chosen to commit to donating a one time gift.   Others have offered to be my partner in this ministry by being a pray warrior on my behalf: praying for me in regards to my financial need and in regards to the ministry that I am doing.  If you are interested in supporting me financially, you can do so by simply going to my blog julieengelsman.myadventures.org and clicking on the "Support Me!" link.  If you are interested in being on a team of folks who would pray for me, you can simply email me at julieengelsman@adventures.org

Praying that the Lord would richly bless each one of you who reads this today and that if there is anything specific that I can be praying for you, that you would not hesitate to contact me so that I could pray on your behalf.

With love,

Julie
